Once in a life
They loved so dear
only wanting to be near
Sharing together a dream
happiness abound
Illness took over
they were stricken
Sad in his own way
he watched her slip away
Angry at the thought
was it all for not
Just some words I jotted down on paper a few years ago in regard to my father's feelings towards my mother's death.
Michelle..such handsome man.. Your father passed away at a young age.
