THOMPSON - Edna R. (Robillard) Hebert, 80, formerly of 1222 Riverside Dr., North Grosvenordale, died yesterday in Matulaitis Nursing Home,Thurber Road, Putnam.

She leaves her husband of 62 years, Edward Hebert of Putnam; a son, Norman R. Hebert of Farmington, Conn.; a daughter, Jacqueline Lorman of Orlando, Fla.; a sister, Stella Robillard of Grosvenordale; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was born in Lowell, daughter of Zennon [sic] and Rose (Faucher) Robillard, and lived most of her life in Thompson before moving to Putnam in 1981. Mrs. Hebert was an assembler for many years at Deran Candy Co. in North Grosvenordale, retiring in 1970. She was previously an inspector in the cloth room at the former Cluett-Peabody Co. in North Grosvenordale. Mrs. Hebert was a member of St. Joseph's Church in North Grosvenordale.

The funeral will be held tomorrow from Valade Funeral Home, 23 Main St., North Grosvenordale, with a Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church, 18 Main St., North Grosvenordale. Burial will be in the parsih cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home are 7 to 9 tonight.

NORTH GROSVENORDALE Normand Chaput, 71 of North Grosvenordale, CT, died on Monday, October 11, 2004 at the UMass-Memorial Medical Center in Worcester. He was born on November 24, 1932, in North Grosvenordale, CT the son of the late Edward and Anita (Robillard) Chaput.
He is survived by his wife of almost 48 years, Constance (Braman) Chaput; they were married in St. Lewis Church in Webster, MA. Normand was a graduate of St. Joseph's High School class of 1950. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict (18 months in Germany) receiving the Occupation Medal (Germany) and National Defense Service Medal. He was a member of VFW Post #10088 and the American Legion Post #0067 member. He enjoyed gardening and was a member of the National Home Gardening Club. Normand enjoyed his visits to Foxwoods with his wife and was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan.
In addition to his wife Constance, he is survived by three daughters, Donna Henley of Dudley, MA, Melissa Rilkoff of Sandwich, MA, Rebecca Poirier of Charlton, MA; three sons, Normand Chaput II of Quaker Hill, CT, David Chaput of Webster, MA, Edward Chaput of Canterbury, CT, one sister, Theresa Pescosolido of Berlin, CT and Fort Lauderdale, FL; 13 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
No calling hours. The Mass of Christian Burial is on Saturday October 16, at 11 a.m. in Saint Joseph Church in North Grosvenordale. Burial, with presentation of Full Military Honors, will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery. Valade Funeral Home, 23 Main Street is in charge of arrangements.

THOMPSON -- Edward Hebert, 90, formerly of Riverside Drive, North Grosvenordale, a former machinist and semi-pro baseball player, died Tuesday, Jan. 2, in Matulaitis Nursing Home, Putnam. His wife of 62 years, Edna (Robillard) Hebert, died in 1991. He leaves a son, Norman D. Hebert of Farmington, Conn.; a daughter, Jacqueline Lorman of Orlando, Fla.; a sister, Doris Rutledge of Colorado; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was born in New Bedford, son of Joseph and Lydia (Chaput) Hebert, and lived most of his life in North Grosvenordale.

Mr. Hebert was a machinist at Cluett, Peabody & Co., North Grosvenordale, until it closed in the early 1950s. He was a member of St. Joseph Church, North Grosvenordale, and played semi-pro baseball for North Grosvenordale Co.

The funeral will be held Friday, Jan. 5, from Valade Funeral Home, 23 Main St., North Grosvenordale, with a Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, 18 Main St., North Grosvenordale. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Calling hours are 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 4, in the funeral home.

Mrs. Philomene (Foucher) Robillard, a resident of this city for the past 50 years, died yesterday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Fabiola Fournier, 517 Moody St, following an illness of several months. Mrs. Robillard was an attendant of St. Jean Baptiste church and was well known throughout the parish.
She was a member of the Third Order of St. Francis and of the Ste. Anne Sodality and also was a charter member of La Legion Franco-American Auxillary. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Fabiola Fournier and Mrs. Anita Patenaude, both of Lowell; three sons, Rosario Robillard of North Grosvenordale Conn., Joseph H Robillard of Manchester, N. H. and Antonio Robillard of Lowell; one sister, Mrs Rose Robillard of North Grosvenordale Conn., and one brother, Mr. Theophile Foucher of Fort Benton Mont; 17 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
