Riley - Maille Wedding At Sacred Heart

LOWELL -- Miss Patricia R. Maille, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paule E. Maille of 163 Meadowcroft street, became the bride of James E. Riley of 81 Prince street, August 25, at a 10 o'clock nuptial mass at the Sacred Heart church. Rev. Albert Walls, OMI, officiated the ceremony.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a floor length imported gown of Chantilly lace fashioned with a sabrina neckline, detailed in sequins and seed pearls, a basque bodice and bouffant skirt designed with lace appliqued panels and a back detail of four tiers of lace. A jeweled crown held her fingertip veil of hand rolled silk illusion and she carried a cascade of slephanotis and ivy centered with an orchid.

Miss Gail Maille, sister of the bride, was attired in a shrimp silk over taffeta floor length gown designed with a scoop neckline and basque bodice. Her circular veil was attached with a matching cabbage rose. The bridesmaids, Miss Roberta Maille, sister of the bride and Miss Sharon Sheehan, and Miss Elaine Sheehan, both cousins of the bride were similary gowned in turquoise.

John Boyle was the best. The ushers were Claude Maille, brother of the bride, Dennis Riley, brother of the bridegroom, and Paul Farley, uncle of the bride.

Following a reception at a Pawtucket boulevard restaurant the couple left for a wedding trip to New York City. They will make their home in Dover, Del.

The bride, a graduate of Lowell high school, is a member of the Blessed Virgin sodality of the Sacred heart church.

The bridegroom, a graduate of Lowell high school, is serving with thr U. S. Air Force stationed in Dover, where he is attending IBM school.

DRACUT -- Paul E. Maille, 76, a longtime resident of Dracut, died Monday at St. John's Campus, after a brioef illness. He was the husband of the late Rita G. (Moran) Maille.
Born July 19, 1917, he was a son of the late Cuthbert and Rose E. (Therrien) Maille.
He was a communicant of St. Francis Church and a member of the Dracut Senior Citizens Club and the A.A.R.P.
Before his retirement, he was employed as service manager with J.G. MacLellan and sons in Tewksbury.
Surviving him are two daughters, Patricia Riley, with whom he resided, and Roberta Maille of Londonderry, N.H.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Claude and Nancy Maille of Lowell and David and Diane Maille of Chelmsford; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Emile and Theresa Maille and John G. Maille, all of Dracut; a sister, Priscilla England of Dracut, his godmother, Alice Therrien Gormley of Dracut; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He was also the father of the late Gail Robillard and brother of the late Leo Maille and rachel Maille Longridge.


MAILLE -- Died May 16, Paul E. Maille, aged 76, widower of Rita G. (Moran) Maille, a longtime resident of Dracut. Friends may call at the McKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday. Funeral Friday morning with a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10 o'clock at St. Francis Church, Kenwood. Burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Francis Building Fund in Dracut. Arrangements by the McKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME.

Mrs. Pauline (Maille) Robillard, 38, wife of Jerome C. Robillard, a resident of Derry, N.H., died yesterday at Lowell General Hospital. Born in Lowell, she was a daughter of Paul and Rita (Moran) Maille. Besides her husband and parents, she is survived by a son, James D. Robillard, 7th grade student at the Hood school in Derry, N.H.; a daughter, Michelle R. Robillard, a freshman at the Pinkerton Academy, Derry, N.H.; two brothers, Claude Maille, and David Maille, both of Lowell; two sisters, Mrs. James (Patricia) Riley of Londonderry, N.H. and Miss Roberta Maille of Lowell; and several nieces and nephews.


ROBILLARD -- Died Nov. 5, Pauline (Maille) Robillard, aged 38, beloved wife of Jerome C. Robillard. Friends may call at the Leo J. The Obituary of Patricia Rose Riley nee Maille

This picture is of my Godmother, my mother's sister. She was the daughter of Paul E. Maille and Rita G Moran.. It is dated on the back 1963. I really like this picture, you can see the Statue of Liberty in the background.

Haverhill – Patricia R. (Maille) Riley, 63, a Haverhill resident, formerly of Dracut, died Thursday January 26, at the Massachusetts General Hospital following an extended illness. 

She was born in Lowell on December 14, 1942, a daughter of the late Paul E. and Rita (Moran) Maille. While residing in Dracut she was a communicant of St. Francis Church. Ms. Riley was a former cafeteria manager for Corporate Chefs at MKS in Salem, NH, a regional sales manager for Tupperware. Ms. Riley enjoyed her membership at the Salem Athletic Club, she was an avid Red Sox fan, enjoyed visiting Foxwoods Resort. Most of all she enjoyed her family, “Friday Game Nights” and attending her grandchildren’s athletic events. Meme’s was their #1 fan. 

Survivors include three daughters and two sons in law, Elizabeth and Peter Ross of Kingston, NH, Colleen and James Moloney of Londonderry, NH, Kelly Riley of Haverhill, with whom she made her home; a brother and sister in law, David and Diane Maille of Dracut; a sister, Roberta Maille of Manchester, NH; a sister in law, Nancy Maille of Lowell; six grandchildren, Caitlin Moloney, Erin Moloney, Allie Moloney, Ryan Moloney, Charles Ross, PJ Ross; two companions, Wrigley and Murphy Riley; and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Claude “Chick” Maille, and Gail Robillard.
